The Jackson County Board of Education met in Regular Session on Monday, February 12, 2007, at 5:00 p.m. at the Jackson County Board of Education Building, 12210 Colonel Vickrey Road, Vancleave, Ms 39565

DISCUSS / APPROVE: ONE ACRE OF LAND IN FRONT OF EAST CENTRAL LOWER / EAST CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOLS - OWNER WOULD LIKE TO SELL: Motion by Dickerson, second by Turner to approve Superintendent going forward with the prospective purchase of the McDougall property, a parcel of property consisting of approximately one (1) acre located immediately adjacent to East Central High School upon the condition that the appraisal hereby authorized indicated that the subject property appraises for a value of at least $35,000.00, the Board having determined that purchase of said property to be necessary and desirable in connection improvement of the East Central Attendance Center and the school district in general.
