The Jackson County Board of Education met in Regular Session on Thursday, November 15, 2007, at 5:00 p.m. at the St. Martin High School, 10800 Yellowjacket Blvd, Ocean Springs, Mississippi

CURRICULUM PRESENTATION - ST. MARTIN UPPER ELEMENTARY: Amy Rodriguez, Art Teacher and Sue Nicholson, WINGS Teacher presented to the board a curriculum presentation along with a powerpoint entitled " A Gathering of Nations, celebrating Native American Art and Culture". Students presented several of the 2000 items which they handmade during this lesson.

f.y.i. & discussion: PROPOSED 903 HOUSING UNITS IN THE VANCLEAVE AREA: Motion by Turner, second by Dickerson to approve Jack Pickett to move forward with a resolution to the Jackson County Board of Supervisors and the Planning Commissioner regarding the effects on the Jackson County School District concerning the proposed 903 housing units in the Vancleave area. This resolution is to be presented at the December 10, 2007 board meeting, with the following vote taken:
