The Jackson County School District is in the process of collecting data and surveys from parents, students, teachers, administrators, and community members. In order to help our District better understand our needs from the viewpoint of all stakeholders, we are requesting all interested parties to complete our Title I Needs Assessment survey. The survey will help provide the district with information, data, and feedback to include when allocating federal and district funds. "Got Badge?" Badges at SMMS
Students are required to wear their ID at all times during school hours. Badges need to be visible and worn on the collar with clip holder provided. Badges are to remain at school and not be taken home to avoid loss or damage. Badges should be left with the students 5th period teacher unless they have an elective. If a student has an elective 5th period (band, choir, PE, performing arts) they will leave their badge with their 4th period teacher. Badges, badge holder, and clips are issued at the beginning of the year at no charge. If a badge is lost or needs to be replaced, there is a five dollar charge to replace it. Replacement clips and holders are a dollar each. Students are allowed two temporary badges per nine weeks before disciplinary consequences.
