Athletics (Softball)
Softball regular season has been completed and our team has won the 6-A District again.
SMHS will play in the third round of the MHSAA softball playoffs against Harrison Cenrtal.

2012 MASA Awards
The MS Assocation of School Administrators held its Leadership Conference in Jackson on Oct. 14-16. Dr. Michael Van Winkle was presented with the MS Association of Gifted Children 2012 Award of Excellence. Picture to the left.
