Our are off to the many friends and colleagues from throughout the country who have contributed greatly to our employees, students, and schools in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. They have definitely provided help after the storm! Many offers continue to be extended on a daily basis. We would like to be able to respond with specific information when individuals or organizations offer assistance.

Since so many of our employees have suffered tremendous losses due to Hurricane Katrina, we are asking that the affected employees complete an information sheet that will be made available to the parties offering support. At the last count, at least 106 have been displaced due to the loss of/or extreme damage to their residences.

Please note that many schools or other organizations would like to "adopt" a family or group of children throughout the year -- that is why some information is being requested.
