The completely automated library media center at East Central High School houses over 7,600 books and approximately 1,200 pieces of audiovisual items and equipment.  The library has 35 internet accessible computers available for independent and class-based research.  Students patronizing the library media center have access to 26 different magazines, and the local newspaper, as well as to MAGNOLIA, a state-funded database of magazines, newspapers, encyclopedias, and miscellaneous research sources.
